Our family business starts from our grandmother who was a beekeeper in Kalavryta in Peloponneso of Achaia and continued by our father who in 1972 managed to obtain transport so as to start nomadic beekeeping. Fond of natural products, used to love the magical world of bees and the production process of honey and other bee products since a very young age and it was then that next to his grandmother he learned that: ’’… the cell, home of Bee, is a carrying wealth because wherever you take it, it will give you a distinct honey flavor with an exquisite aroma and great features.
Glavas bee factory reaching, the fourth born today, following a course of years in the beekeeping area continues to produce by collecting wild honey in the plateau of Helmos specifically on the plains of Lousoi of Kalavryta, in an area full of fir trees and other wild plants and items of local flora, thus giving the best variety of honey. Outside from Fir honey bees collect Glavas – other types of honey are available for consumption such as Thyme, Floral, Heather, Arbutus, Orange, Pine, Mountain Oak etc.
Guided by our knowledge gained through experience in beekeeping we have created with respect for the place and local tradition a modern laboratory – packing unit thus concentrating all our activities with the help of OUR own CONSTRUCTION machinery in order to fully satisfy the needs of those who love authentic Greek products of great quality.
